How to Make a Drum Beat Maker Work

Monday, September 26th, 2011

Using a download for a drum beat maker has its challenges. Firstly they can sound really false and shallow sounding if the wrong type of drum is used in conjunction with the other music. A drum should always be though about in terms of tempo, rhythm, echo, shuffle, repeats, adjusts and volume. If a drumbeat stays the same for a whole track it will no doubt have a negative impact on the piece. However this is not to say that drums sounds should very from second to second. The drum should be thought of as a through line to the song; the pulsating linear force that keeps everything in time. Even when using a drum beat maker is used the importance of a drum is not diminished. In fact there are so many different types of drum on a machine selection that the potential diversity to a drum sound has never been so vast.

Acoustic Guitar For All

Saturday, September 17th, 2011

My spouse bought the cheap Martin guitars in a local “center” from the suggestion of one of the teachers. I wish to reiterate this guitar looks much better in person than the image on here. Did not have to play any additional shipping since it was available in prime shipping! The generic image does not do this guitar justice. This really is my first evaluation on here simply because I feel that I should state my case for this guitar. The neck comes with a metal rod, that we was not sure about when choosing. I’m certainly sending this back again, perhaps I received one with a problem hence the rattle but to replace it all with something that seems has such poor materials makes no sense. I started out just doing familiar runs by sound however I’m going back again and learning the notes so I can read songs simply because I think I’ll make a lot more progress this way. This is actually the guitar that I take to my guitar lesson instead of my much more costly Martin.

Why Take Online Voice Lessons?

Wednesday, September 7th, 2011

If you want to learn how to sing better, Online singing lessons are the way to go. I want lay out a few reasons why I think this is true and then give you a good singing tip toward the end of this post. Online lessons give you the unique opportunity to take lessons at home whenever you want. If your schedule is anything like mine, you have plenty going on and can’t always make certain appointments. With Online video lessons, you can even take them in the middle of the night, if that works best for you.

Okay, my favorite tip has to do with the tip of the tongue. Although it is often considered the worst enemy of the singer, there is a simple way to fix that, not easy, but simple. It should remain pressed gently against the back of the lower teeth for all vowels and some consonants.

The Notes of the Saxophone

Wednesday, June 29th, 2011

Unlike the fingering system on the piano which has 5 fingers on each hand: thumb is finger 1, index is 2, middle finger is 3, 4th finger and the pinky is finger 5.

The saxophone fingering system is totally different. Your thumbs are not involved. There are 6 anchor notes over both hands. For a visual view of this see the saxophone finger chart here. Fingers 1, 2, and 3 are on your left hand and fingers 4, 5, and 6 are on your right hand.

By anchor notes I mean these 6 notes are only played by those fingers. The 4th finger of your left hand is your pinky and is responsible for 4 different notes. This is the cluster right below the first 3 notes. The 4th finger on your right hand is also your pinky and is responsible for playing 2 notes. These are the last 2 keys found on the bottom of your saxophone.
