I Am Trying to Start a Company
Tuesday, June 21st, 2011I am trying to start a company and am looking into offshore company formation so that I can maybe dodge some taxes. I should not say it like that, ‘dodge some taxes’ sounds so negative. Really, I do not see anything wrong with it. I feel like we should be able to put our business’ headquarters where ever we feel like putting them. I mean this is America, and ‘America’ means freedom. At least, it seems like that is what they try to teach you in school. Hopefully, though, if everything works out, our business won’t be located in America. That would be awesome to not have to pay the corporate tax rate here. Hopefully, we can have our cake and eat it too, to use an old expression. It would be ideal if I could get into a boat and just find somewhere to put our headquarters right now.

I felt envious as I have been dying to have a perfect lawn same as my boss’. So, I went digging for some information. I asked their gardener who happened to be there all about the things regarding the lawn. I learned from him that he has been utilizing the scotts lawn care program and will continue to use through the entire year. I thought then that it might be an expensive sort of lawn care program. Once I got home, I did a thorough research about that. I may not have the biggest and grandiose mansion as with my boss’, but, I will be happy if at least I could have the same healthy lawn. And mind you, the price quotation that they have given me is very much affordable. Hmm..I think I will be having my dream lawn sooner than you think.

Otterbox Earns Patent for Rugged Defender Technology
Wednesday, April 27th, 2011Otterbox, the manufacturer of numerous rugged iPhone cases such as the popular Otterbox Defender, has recently earned long-awaited patents for its Defender technology. Otterbox says that it has waited five years to be awarded the patents, which the company says are intended to protect their innovations in rugged case technology.
Otterbox says they will use the patents to ensure that other companies do not infringe on their rugged case designs. Although they have not specified what features exactly are patented, the Otterbox CEO says that they are serious about protecting their intellectual property and will pursue legal action against other companies that infringe on their patents.
The Otterbox Defender’s patented design includes a three-layer rugged iPhone case that consists of a hard inner shell, a softer shock-absorbent exterior, and a plastic film to protect the iPhone screen.
Other rugged cases include the Seidio CONVERT for iPhone, the Cygnett WorkMate and the Griffin Survivor. Whether these aforementioned competitors use technologies similar to the Defender has yet to be determined.
