um, they told him it was wheaties???

american golden boy michael phelps has been caught on camera toking it up at a party.

a lot of the comments at the end of the article are pretty hard on ol’ michael. i think, personally, if we can have admitted drug users as our last two presidents (and our current one), then what’s the big deal? granted, he may have already ruined his chances of topping his achievement in 2012, but that’s his choice (and up to the uptight body that governs the olympics). of course, they didn’t bother sanctioning china for using female gymnasts who were clearly too young to compete (according to their rules), so maybe they’ll let him off the hook.

i say, cut the kid some slack. first of all, he’s spent the majority of his life engaged in grueling training. b, that training paid off and he kicked some serious ass. three, do we really still freak out about pot? and last, wtf is up with his face??? (ok, that’s not related, but still begs the asking.)

i’m just sayin’…
