interesting reagan/putin/obama six degrees thing…

i heard a story on npr today.  they were interviewing obama’s official photographer, pete souza,  who also happened to be reagan’s.  in fact, he accompanied reagan to the red square way back when i still watched fantasy island (godspeed ricardo montalban).

in the red square, reagan was meeting “tourists”, who, according to souza, were asking some very pointed questions.  souza mentioned his surprise at this to one of the secret service agents, who replied, “are you kidding?  these are all kgb and their families.”

(i’ll give you a hint, the guy with the camera’s name starts with p and rhymes with ootin.)
